Kedarnath Temple
A Himalayan Jyotirlinga and part of the Chota Char Dham.

About the temple
The Kedarnath Temple, in the Garhwal Himalaya of Uttarakhand, is dedicated to Shiva. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and one of the four shrines of the Chota Char Dham.
Seasonal access. Kedarnath is open for only part of the year and closes for the winter. The opening and closing dates are announced each year, so check them before planning.
Before you go
Darshan timings, entry rules, dress expectations and any ticketing are decided by the temple and can change. This page does not publish them because Athaahanand cannot keep them current. Please confirm with the temple's own official channels before you travel.
