Devotees gathered for satsang by a river

Dhan Nirankar Ji

Teachings

God-realisation is not a reward after death but an experience available now, through the grace of the Satguru.

Core teachings

  • God is Nirankar

God is formless, eternal and present in every particle of creation — never confined to a place or an image.

  • Brahm Gyan

Knowledge of God is given by the living Satguru. Once known, God can be felt at every moment.

  • Self through God

Realising God, a person comes to know their own true self — the Mission’s “self-realisation through God-realisation”.

  • Universal brotherhood

If one God lives in all, all are one family. Humanity is the first religion.

  • A householder’s path

No renunciation is asked. Devotees live family lives, work honestly and serve.

  • Humility and love

Ego divides; humility unites. Love, tolerance and forgiveness are the marks of a devotee.

The value of human birth

The Mission teaches that human birth is precious because only in it can a soul come to know God. Spending it in rituals, divisions and prejudice wastes the opportunity; spending it in God-knowledge, service and love fulfils it.

Because God is present in all, the Mission respects every faith and asks devotees to see the same Light in people of every religion.
